Christopher Edgar Barber, 62, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on October 9, 2026. He was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on January 15, 1964. Christopher graduated from Parkland High School. While attending North Carolina A&T, he was drafted into the NFL before completing his degree. He was married to Veronica Lynn Barber on June 18, 1991.
Christopher's working career included all things about football. He was a player for the NFL, AFL, and CFL, and was a football coach at Lake Highland Prep School. While he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, working out, and playing football even in his "off time".
Christopher is survived by his wife, Veronica Lynn Barber; children, Christopher Lamont Barber, Shelby Christina De Leon (Nikolas), and Aaron Tyler Barber; siblings, Joy Barber, Thomas Crawford (Tammy), Debra Lybrand, and Stacy Anderson (Neil); and mother, Emma Crawford.
Services for Christopher will be held on Friday, October, 23, 2026 starting at 11:00 am at Orlando World Outreach Church (4365 Kennedy Ave, Orlando, FL 32812).
