HENDERSON, DAVID LOUIS, 74, died March 8, 2012. He was born and raised in Morgantown, WV. After graduating high school, he served 2 years in the Marine Corps, and then joined his father operating Henderson Coal Co. In 1969 he and his wife, Norma, and parents, Virgil and Lois, purchased the former Lake Shore Motel in Winter Park. The family owned and operated the motel more than 10 years and continued operating rental properties in Winter Park. He is preceded in death by his wife, one brother, and his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Marlo Henderson-Woodham and two grandsons: Bradly Drake Woodham and Samuel Elias Madrigal, Orlando.
