He was my little love for 10 years from about age 3 as I was his "other mother". I would love to have known him in adulthood. God bless you all.

Amy, I cannot find the words to express how truly sorry I am for you and your families loss. You are in my thoughts and in my heart.

I have just learned of the passing of Derek. My heart goes out to his family. Our son played flag football briefly with his son,Logan while Derek assisted coaching... he had a big heart and a big love for his wife and children. I hope they each know how much they were loved. Praying God will wrap his arms around each of them and comfort them in the days ahead. Rest peacefully, Derek.

So sorry for your loss he was definitely too young to leave this earth. You both will be remembered in our prayers.

I never met Derek. But I've known him a long time through our love of Evony. He was a loyal, amazing friend. He spoke of his family often, and always lovingly. He was a special man. I cared for him deeply, as all his evony family did. His family will be in all of our hearts, all over the country.

I never met Derek but I do know his Dad, Gary.  My heart hurts for him and his family.  We never expect as parents to have to loose our children.  Derek sounded like just an awesome son, father, husband and brother.  He is in God's loving arms now who will keep him safe til he can be joined with his family once again.  God Bless them all.
