Doris Pearl Johnson

Doris Pearl Johnson, 92, of Maitland, passed away surrounded by family and loved ones, on January 17, 2025. Doris was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 18, 1932. She grew up in South Baltimore where she attended Southern High School and met and married her high school sweetheart Charles (Chas) Johnson.

She loved being a homemaker and caring for her family. She spent many hours tending to her garden, especially her roses, and her home was always filled with fresh flowers. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, attending tea parties and expressing her creativity with her “quilting club” friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Chas and her grandchild Christina.

Doris is survived by her children, David W (Kathleen), Brenda Lynn (Chuck) and Mark Charles; sister in law Shirley (Ken); Grandchildren Melissa, Charles (Maria), Scott, Brian (Amber), Christine (Jeff), and Theresa (Johnny). Doris also has 4 great-grandchildren.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:30 am followed by A Celebration of Life at 12:30 pm both at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home (7520 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792). Interment will be held at 2:00 pm at Glen Haven Memorial Park (Winter Park, FL) on Friday, January 24, 2025.
