Edna Yacobian Bishop

Edna Y. Bishop age 99, of Orlando, passed away May 6, 2016. She was born in Tampa and moved to Orlando at the age of 4. Her father was a well-known barber. Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Bishop, a prominent Orlando attorney. She was a graduate of Orlando High School and Florida State College for Women before it was FSU. She was a member of Sorosis, a communicant of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church where she belonged to St. Elizabeth’s Guild. She is survived by her daughters Carol Phifer and Judi Greene; one grandson Jonathan Phifer and three great-grandchildren; brother Dr. Ralph M. (Fay) Yacobian and their daughter Linda. The family would like to thank her caregivers Belvia White, Paulna Desius, Marie Alice Remy and Diana Sanabria. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 10th at 11:30 am at Greenwood Cemetery.
