Eleanor M Sammarco

IN LOVING MEMORY of Eleanor May (Brandt) Sammarco, age 84, who passed away into God’s hands on March 7, 2013. She was born on February 5, 1929 in Erie, PA the daughter of the late Roger & Charlotte Brandt. She moved to Florida in 1976. She is survived by her son John Sammarco, (wife Dee), daughter Roxanne Hargis, (husband Earl), two brothers Tom and Robert Brandt, 7 grandchildren, Joey, Michael, Bianca, Crystal, Andy, Christy and Jenny. 12 great grandchildren, Steven, Brittany, Jordan, Victoria, Tony, Trenton, Alanis, Megan, Kaitlyn, Christian, RaeLin, Sara, and 3 great great grandchildren, Jennaci, Mason and Devin as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband John M. Sammarco in 1984, her son Joseph John in 2004, her parents, brother and two sisters. She married John in 1945 and together they worked hard to raise three children and provide them with a good life. She also helped raise her baby brother Tom now 74 years old . Before her retirement she was general manager of TG&Y stores in Erie and was the first woman in the company to achieve this role. She was deeply loved by her family and friends.
