Elizabeth Anne Christinziano Crew, 82 of Orlando, FL. passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 25, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA. She attended St. Maria Goretti Catholic High School where she graduated with honors. She loved going to Termini Bros. Italian bakery every day after school for her cannoli’s as well as Pat’s Famous Cheesesteaks. She came from a very poor family where her father owned a tavern where heavy weight boxer Rocky Marciano visited. One day in conversation her father mentioned she really wanted a pair of roller skates, soon after Rocky returned with her first pair of roller skates. She was very proud of that story and told everyone.
Elizabeth enjoyed sitting at the dining room table watching the ducks splash and play in the pond. She would love looking at and hearing wind chimes of any size. She loved visiting Hard Rock Café and playing for hours on the penny slots. She would get so delighted winning off scratch off tickets even if it was just a $5.00 win. On the weekends she could be found sitting on a softball field enjoying watching her granddaughters play and eating soft baked pretzels with mustard. She enjoyed traveling along with their teams. After Elizabeth retired, she dedicated her life to her two dogs. She was very proud of her eldest granddaughter for all her accomplishments in her education in earning her Masters Degree and her career at the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue. She loved calling Heather to see what she was cooking and what the ingredients were, she loved anything Heather made for her because it was made with Love.
She is survived by her daughters, Joanne Hause and Kellie Crew; sons, Shawn Crew and Clayton Crew and daughter in law, Liza “Lisa” whom she loved like a daughter; granddaughters, Heather Hause, LeAnne, Alanna and Jocelyne "Jossy" Crew and beloved dogs, Ginger and Siris.
Family is receiving friends for visitation on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 10:00AM at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home Goldenrod Chapel with Graveside service to follow at 11:00AM at All Faiths Memorial Park.
