I remember the day me and Jennifer wanted to go to Wet N Wild so Ethel offered to take us after 4 pm when it’s a discount price. We just couldn’t handle waiting that long so we searched the house including under couch cushions looking for extra money. Being the ever patient great mom she went ahead and took us early!

I also remember her calling Keanu Reeves “Nu Nu”!!

So many memories of her patience as we destroyed the kitchen making pretzels! We also tested her patience with all of our weird pool games including pretending to drown and through it all she would just shake her head.

We bought our first real house in the late sixty's right next door to Tom & Ethel Thomas who had just bought their first as well. Ethel was a wonderful neighbor, friend & PTA companion! We wasted many hours chatting at the fence or standing on the sidewalk watching the kids on bicycles in the street. Such wonderful memories. Our children all grew up together. Precious times.
