Gilbert Portalatin

Gilberto Portalatin, passed in peace on May 23, 2018 at the age of 90. At his side was his wife and best friend of 51 years Nilda Portalatin. He was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico on August 5, 1927 to Leopoldo and Juana Portalatin. He is is one of twelve siblings and survived by only four; Nilda Rosado, Manuel Portalatin, Ramon Portalatin and Rafael Portalatin. His children, all surviving are Shirley Fiumano, Gilbert Portalatin, Jr., Yvonne Portalatin, Jaime L. Portalatin. Step-children Tony Rodriguez and Nilly Farrell. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 29,th from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. with Funeral services at 3:00 P.M. at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Goldenrod Chapel, 7520 Aloma Ave., Winter Park, FL. 32792.
