Harold Winton Dunn, 88, passed away January 5, 2020, in Orlando, FL. He was born on February 13, 1931, in Flint, Michigan, to Fornoria and Ruby (Williams) Dunn. Harold built a career as an elementary school principal, serving at length in the St. Charles, MO, School District. He earned degrees in education at Washington University in St. Louis and Southeast Missouri State University. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War as a radioman on a seaplane. Harold also provided professional guardianship services. He was known for his kindness and never met a stranger. Family was important to him.
Harold is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ann Tallman; two children, Mark (Debbie) Dunn and Susan Garcia; three stepchildren, Bradford (Evan) Tallman, Robin Little, and Amy (Joe) Miller; nine grandchildren, Erin Drabek, Melissa Raef, Stephanie Dunn, Sarah Olinski, Lauren Dehdari, Natalie Garcia, Abigail Tallman, Jacob Gibson, and Joshua Miller; one great grandson, Layton Raef; and sister Barbara Mills. He was preceded in death by stepson Brian Tallman.
A visitation will be held in his honor at Baldwin Fairchild Conway Chapel 1413 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando, FL 32807 on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 11:30 am to 12:30pm and a service from 12:30pm to 1:30pm with internment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando, FL.
