Back in the day...way, way back when I first met Harvey you instantly felt a strong attraction of kindness and friendship. I could not pronounce his last name correctly, so I would jokingly call him "Pecker Head" for short and somehow that name stuck. Until this day whenever I would see Tim his name is "oh look, it's Pecker Head."
I loved Harvey for his easy going ways, patience, his love for his family and most importantly his amazing sense of humor. So many great memories from the Orange County Sheriff's Office Communication Center.
My thoughts and prayers to the entire Pechacek Family..

Deb and Carl, we are so very sorry for your loss. Even though we never met your dad, I know he was a kind and wonderful man because of how kind and wonderful both of you are. Bye the way, my dad and your dad were ptactically neighbors during their childhoods. My dad grew up in Hudson WI. Sending hugs to both you. Kim and Bob

I met Harvey and Lydia in DoverFoxtcroft Maine while in the AirForce.
We remained friends all these years. Played many a game of Pinochle in Florida and Lydia always won. Two of my best friends. Sorry to see him go but now he is with Lydia and my wife Jean and I am sure they are playing cards.
Love to all the kids. Jim Silvius.

I met Harvey and his friend Charlie Brown when we all "worked" at Stoneybrook East Golf Club in Orlando, FL. They both took this youngster under their wings and taught me how to be a good starter/ranger.
Some of the best times I had when I lived in Florida was the decade spent with Harvey and Charlie playing golf at 7 am to beat the heat.
They were the best kind of friends you could hope for.
Blessed am I for having been in his circle of friends.
