

Helen V. Morgan, 91, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on July 27, 2013. She was born to the late Harry and Rose Wernert in Pittsburgh, PA on July 16, 1922. Helen was a self-made, educated woman, and a gifted interior designer. She shared her gifts both by teaching interior design to aspiring students, and by providing interior design services to clients in Pittsburgh and Orlando. She also developed and starred in a long-running and very successful Procter and Gamble TV commercial that aired during Super Bowl VII. She loved cooking, entertaining, painting, ballroom dancing and cruising, and was always smiling and ready to laugh.
Helen was an incredible mother to her children and had wonderful relationships with her extended family. Married three times and widowed twice, Helen spent the last 20 years with her loving husband, Donald, and together they made many memories that will live on forever. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and adored her.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Roland Wernert, her first husband, Robert Vargo, and her second husband, David Doub.
She is survived by her husband, Donald F. Morgan of Orlando, FL; son Kenneth Vargo of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter Ginger Robinson (Mel) of Orlando, FL and their children Blake and Christian; stepson Donald C. Morgan (Jan) of St. Ignatius, MT and their children Jeffery, Sarah, and Patrick; stepson Richard Morgan (Nancy) of Santa Cruz, CA and their son Jonathan; stepson Michael Doub (Diane) of Chapel Hill, NC and their children Nichole and Jason; stepdaughter Dayna Doub Peechatka (Farley) of State College, PA and their children Avery and Alyssa; and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Helen’s life will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Carey Hand Cox-Parker Funeral Home, 1350 W. Fairbanks Ave., Winter Park, FL, 32789.
