Isabel Faura

Isabel Angeles Faura, born February 28, 1928, passed away peacefully with her family at her side following a brief illness on October 17, 2014. Isabel was born in Manzanillo, Cuba. She married her late husband, Jose Faura M.D. in their beloved country. They immigrated with their children to the United States in 1968. She was a very selfless woman who gave up everything to seek freedom and a better life for her children. Widowed at a young age she raised her children to love, respect and do for others. Her strong faith carried her through life's challenges. She loved flowers, family and friends. She was loved by many. She was our precious Amiga, Tia, Mami and Abuela. Isabel is survived by her children, Jose (Nirania), Pedro (Bruce Buchanan) and Isabel (Ron) Knipe. Her five grandchildren Jacqueline and Daniel Faura, Gabriella, Joey and Ryan Knipe. Her sister Victoria Leoncio and niece Maria Navarro (Sonia).

A Funeral Mass will be held for Isabel on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 9:50 am at St. James Catholic Cathedral. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park.. A reception will be held following the services at the home of Isabel and Ron Knipe. Arrangements entrusted to Orlando's Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Homes
