

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was Honorably Discharged in January 1948. He then went on to work as a telephone install/repairman for Southern Bell which led to PBX Installation with AT&T. He was a lifetime member and served on the board of directors of the Orange County Sportsmen’s Association. He was a frequent blood donor to the Central Florida Blood Bank. He and his wife Nancy were involved with the youth department at Edgewood Baptist Church. He served as a trustee at Corrine Drive Baptist Church and Eastland Baptist Church.
His wife Nancy passed away on February 28, 1994. He is survived by his sons, James Thomas “Tom” Bradford, Jr. - Orlando and William “Bill” C. Bradford - Marietta. His sister Martha Douberley - Lake City and brother David Bradford – Orlando. His daughter-in-law Jeanann Bradford – Orlando and two grandchildren Steven and Ashley
