Jane A. Lindsay, 96, of Winter Park, passed away August 22, 2016. She was born in Amsterdam, NY on June 5, 1920. Jane graduated from Amsterdam H.S. and received her R.N. from Amsterdam City Hospital School of Nursing. She was married to Charles W. Lindsay on June 5, 1941 and because Charles was in the U.S Air Force they raised their 5 children in various states as well as several overseas stations. Over the years Jane sang in numerous church choirs, including the Orlando Navy Chapel Choir and the Winter Park Bach Festival Choir. She is survived by her children Barbara (Frank) Cordaro, Jane (Robert) Hasher, and Kenneth Lindsay and was predeceased by sons Robert Lindsay and Glenn Lindsay. Jane had 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
