Janice Louise Morgan, business owner and beloved lifelong Orlando resident, slipped quietly into heaven at 11:47 AM on Friday, July 23rd, surrounded by family and friends after a 1 ½ year battle with cancer.
She was the wild and fearless hippy in the family in the 70’s. She hitch hiked across Europe and was a flower child in California before “living off the land” in Arkansas. Her mom’s prayers brought her back to Orlando, home base for our family where her balloon bouquet business brought cheer to many. After she became a Jesus follower, she was a friend to the friend-less wherever she went. She loved serving the community and coordinated meals for the homeless for decades through her church. After working with Mom and Dad for years, she took over the family business, Morgan Appliances. God really broke the mold when He made her.
Survived by her son, Luke Morgan Sutterby (Lacey Roberts), and her daughter Amber Moore (Buddy Moore) grand children Makenna and Bella Moore, and siblings Becky Morgan Harmon, Mary Ann Morgan Burke (Pat Burke) John Morgan (Kathy Morgan).
