Janis Y. Porche age 75, of Orlando, passed away January 30, 2016. Janis was devoted to her husband and family. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. For many years she was a Flag Corps sponsor /coach at Conway Jr. High here in Orlando and New Smyrna Beach High School. She was a Florida State Flag Corps Judge as well during those years. She worked in various positions and was also the school nurse. Her love for children lead to hosting various foreign exchange students. Janis is survived by her loving husband Richard; sons Mark and Brett; daughters-in-law Sandy and Tina; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday evening at 6pm followed by a gathering at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 7520 Aloma Avenue Winter Park, FL 32792.
