Jean Taylor McGuire , age 94 of Winter Park, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025. She was born on January 24, 1931 in Brockton, Massachusetts to Christine O’Donnell Taylor and Orin Stevens Taylor. Jean was the youngest of 5 siblings, Gordon Taylor, Anita Taylor, Edna Taylor Butterfield and John Taylor. Their sister Janet passed away as an infant.
Jean moved from Brockton Ma to Key Biscayne FL where she met her future husband Lloyd G. McGuire. They married in 1957 and had 61 wonderful years together before he passed away in 2019.
Although Jean was a fearful flyer, she and Lloyd traveled to Europe, China, Mexico, the Caribbean and many places in the USA including Hawaii. She loved to laugh, shop and have parties. She also loved her church where she served as a Deacon, was a member of the Presbyterian Women, served on several committees, helped with the coalition for the homeless, the global market and the annual garage sale. She was a red hat lady and had many fun adventures with her friends. She retired from the phone company, Bell South after 35 years of service.
Most of all, Jean loved her family, her daughters, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her daughter Debra Workman (Joseph), Lori Pantoliano (Kenneth) her grandchildren Nicholas Pantoliano, Christina Pantoliano Barfield (Corey) Logan Workman, Andrew Workman (Mariale) five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was especially close to her nephew Lance Butterfield and to her niece Brooke Butterfield Amerson (Robert).
