

Joan Carol Gogulski, a woman of deep faith, unwavering devotion, and gentle spirit, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, at the age of 87, in Orlando, Florida. Born on August 22, 1937, Joan was the cherished daughter of John and Elsie (Friess) Kraus. Joan's early life was rooted in Queens, NY, where she graduated from Stella Maris High School, a testament to her strong Catholic upbringing. She was united in marriage to Casimir Jan Gogulski, and together they built a life filled with love and shared commitment.
Before dedicating herself to the cherished role of homemaker, Joan contributed her talents at West Point-Pepperell. Her devotion to her faith was a cornerstone of her life, evident in her service as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Peter and Paul. She was a devout Catholic who found solace and strength in her prayers, especially to St. Jude, and extended her compassion through generous donations to multiple charities.
Joan found immense joy in her hobbies. She was a truly devoted gardener, cultivating beauty and life with her hands. Her home was always meticulously cared for, a reflection of her love for cleaning. In recent years, she enjoyed the excitement of bingo, coloring, and crossword puzzles.
Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Casimir Jan Gogulski; her parents, John and Elsie Kraus; and her brother, John Kraus.
She is survived by her loving children, Michael Gogulski and Karen (Billy) Hibbard; and her treasured grandchildren, Kyra Marion, Cole Hibbard, and Chase Hibbard. Joan's legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion to her family will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
