John -
Five years gone and it’s still fresh on my heart 💜. I still see and hear things and want to call you and tell you about them. All I can say is oh how I wish you were still here. Love and miss you.

Even though it’s been 4 years the sadness is still here and the depth of it unchanged. I wish peace to all who are missing my brother John on this day.  💜

John was an amazing man. So funny & talented. Lisa, remember how we all laughed late into the night with John @ that assisting living home?! RIP

It's been three years since you've been in my life and it feels like the hole in my heart only grows.  I miss you so much and think about you daily.  




John, there hasn't been one day since you have been gone that I haven't thought about you and cried. So many things I see and hear each day bring back beautiful memories of you.  So many times while shopping I see things to buy you and then I realize I can't.  So many things I hear or see I think "Oh, I must send that to John or tell him - he'd love it."  And again, I realize I can't. I am not the same person since you left this world - I have a huge hole in my heart that will never be filled.  I want to tell you how much I miss you and love you and I can't wait to see you in heaven. Love, your sister Lisa

I still can’t believe it’s been a year since you left us. 2020 was a hard year, but not cause of the pandemic but because of your loss. Miss you dearly!

Where do I begin?  We met at US Airways International reservations.  I was told his name was Jose.  That went on for a while.  Then as we became friends. He told me he believed that Elvis was still alive and gave me all the reasons why he believed that.  We used to discuss this at length. He was very close to convincing me that he believed it!!!! until one day he broke into hysterical laughter and said he did not believe it and that it had been a joke.... LOL  I began calling him Elvis. I put up with him because he was funny and smart and talented and we became fast friends.  I was just out of a bad marriage and he out of a bad relationship so we decided to celebrate by traveling to all 50 states.  We had some crazy rules about this.
1- it only counted if you either peed in that state 
2-or run around the car 3 times....no cheats by just flying into the airport.

We managed to do 13 states in 14 days which included Alaska.  At one point we had 2 rental cars...one at SEA airport parking lot and one in Alaska....

Then there was the camping adventure.......
We arrived at DEN baggage claim and I looked at John and said where is our tent and John said on my living room floor.  lol
So off to Walmart.....well what a waste....we ended up returning that tent BECAUSE we nearly camped on a railroad track and the trains kept us up all night. Trains, Trains, Trains....everywhere we stayed there was a freaking train!!!

Then there was the second trip during which I nearly killed him because he got sick and made me miserable too.  
We joked ...we traveled...we had great stories....we had music.... we saw Prince together....we went to Paisley Park ....TWICE and never got in.....we went to DC often to the Smithsonian...taking our lunch cause you know he was a tightwad!!

I loved him more than I can ever express.  We also fought like cats and dogs but we always loved each other.  I miss him every day and have so much to tell him.......McDonalds with the blue roof on..!!!  Elvis


John, my baby brother.  Oh how I miss you.  Even the memories of all the fun times cannot take the pain I am feeling away.  There is a large hole in my heart that will never be filled.  Rest in peace.

John was my best friend! His sense of humor, taste in music and love of life is what drew me to him. We met in LaCrosse Wi and stayed in touch through the years.
Being a Disc Jockey, I needed one for my wedding and John was my first choice. John kept everything I created and sent to him even a poorly done Karoake version of Thriller which he played at my wedding. LOL
John, you will be greatly missed! Thank you for all the great times we had!
