John A. Reetz, aged 88, passed away on September 6, 2024, in Orlando, Florida. Born on September 21, 1935, in Lupton, Michigan, John proudly served his country for two years in the Army before embarking on a successful career in the business world. He was the esteemed owner and president of Transtat Equipment from 1970 until his retirement in 2005.

John was a graduate of the University of Central Michigan, where he laid the foundations for his future endeavors. His personal interests included hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was also a passionate fan of country music and an avid collector of John Deere and Ford tractors, which reflected his love for the outdoors and mechanics.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary Reetz, his sons, Thomas J. Reetz and James T. Reetz, his daughter, Lisa Edwards, and his grandson, Austin Edwards, who will all hold his memory dear.

A service to honor John's life will be held at the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Goldenrod Chapel, located at 7520 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 3PM. The family invites friends and acquaintances to join them in celebrating his remarkable life.
