Jonathan C. Brown

Jonathan Christian Brown, age 25, born on November 9th, 1986 in Winter Park, FL passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012. Jon was full of love and kindness, devoted to his family and friends. Jon loved to be surrounded by nature, to play his guitar; he was a natural horseman and an animal lover devoted to caring for his dogs, cats, and horses. Jon graduated from Edgewater High School where he excelled in football. He went on to become a Private First Class in the Marine Corps. He was a strong competitor who also trained in Mixed Martial Arts where he won all his matches. Jon was the youngest son of Jack C Brown and Jacquelyn C Schaeffer. He is also survived by his grandfather Bert Hanwell; his brothers Justin Brown and Brian Bentley; his sister Lindsey Stitou; his aunt and uncle James and Sandy Brown; his uncle Keith Hanwell; his nephews Riley and Layth Stitou; and his girlfriend Sarah Trono. He was hardworking, determined, funny, gentle but most of all loving. All who knew Jon would agree that it was not how long he lived but how much he LOVED that his life would be measured by. A memorial service will be held in honor of Jon on Thursday, September 6 from 5:30-7:30 pm at Carey Hand Cox-Parker Funeral Home (407) 647-1942.
