A lonely place my heart has found As tears flow to the ground Times will come and go you see That I think of you and me A little laugh a chat or two Never the same without you The warmest hugs that we will miss And the tenderness of your kiss A child or yours so glad to be I know you will remember me Your children bow with softest cries And the tears are in their eyes All your friends they feel the pain And want to see you soon again A better place no doubt will be In the paradise you see Every day I sleep and wake Gets me closer to that date So now I lay to rest at night And look to God to make it right
