Kathleen L Ackermann

Kathleen Rohde Ackermann was born in 1925 in San Antonio, Texas and passed away peacefully on February 28, 2017 in Winter Park, Florida. She was married to Clarence Ackermann within two weeks of his return from World War II and they were married for 59 years. They moved in Texas quite a few times and each time Kathleen loved making her surroundings beautiful. They enjoyed traveling especially after Clarence retired. After living in Austin, Texas for 34 years, she moved to Orlando into the Mayflower Retirement Community and joined the Winter Park Presbyterian Church. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother (Oma). Kathleen is survived by her son, Keith and his wife Eleanor of Orlando, grandson, Clayton and his wife Sasha of Sarasota, Florida, sister-in-law, DeLoris Rohde of San Antonio, Texas and nieces. She will be laid to rest in San Antonio, Texas next to her husband and there will be a memorial service in the Chapel of Winter Park Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11 am.
