Kristian Dakota McCauley God blessed us with Kristian on July 24, 1996 and brought him home on May 30, 2016 at the tender young age of 19 years old. Kristian was born the middle child behind an older brother and younger sister, but anyone who knows them would say they were best of friends rather than siblings. He had a heart of gold and would drop whatever he was doing and go out of his way to help anyone who needed him. Kristian was kind but had a very competitive nature and strived to be the best at everything he did. Whether it was skateboarding, riding dirt bikes, racing BMX on his race team KB BMX, building cars, or most importantly to him being a friend. Kristian was taken from us way too early, but God needed him. As the saying goes, “Only The Good Die Young.” My only solace is the fact that I know we will see him again when we go home to be with our Lord. Kristian is preceded in death by his grandfather Dennis “Poppy” Shipman, and his grandmother Debbie Smith. He is survived by his mother Karla White, father Robert McCauley (Amanda), his big brother Kody McCauley (Tish), and his little sister Alicia McCauley, step-brothers Kristopher Jeror and Bobby Michaels, nieces Aiyanna and Tori, aunt and uncle Misty and Mike Shipman, aunt Heather McCauley, as well as the only true love he ever knew in his young life, Jerica Morales, great grandmother Doris Howell and many cousins, aunts and uncles. Also surviving is one of the most influential people in his life and definitely the reason he was so sweet and kind, his grandma Barbara Shipman. He also leaves behind more friends than I could count which he felt and treated all as brothers and sisters. I may be biased as his father but know that he touched everybody he met and they are truly better people to have known him. He will be truly and deeply missed. We love you Kristian. We miss you and always will until we see you again. Rest In Peace, or as your friends put it, Race In Paradise.
