Later in life, LaVerne was blessed with two children: Constance (Mandy) and Marshall. LaVerne spent 20 plus years working in the school system as a cafeteria manager. She was a Huge Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an amazing cook and great singer. LaVerne will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her love of life. She leaves to mourn her children Constance (Mandy) Harris of Orland, FL, Marshall DeGree of Bradenton, FL; her siblings Emma Cole (deceased), Shirley O’Neil (deceased), Jo Harris-Johnson of Bradenton, Fl, Elaine Marks of Bradenton, FL, Arthur Jr. (Deadra) Harris of Elon, NC, Wayne Harris of Greensboro, NC, Cynthia Weeks of Bradenton, FL; her only grandchild Tyson and other relatives and friends.
