Lester Ervin Shamp, 88 of Winter Park, FL passed away on February 20, 2015. He was born in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania on August 15, 1926. He retired from Kulp’s Foundry after 41 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Maitland, FL and served proudly in the US Army. Lester is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth, his children: Michael Lester Shamp and Cynthia Ann Shamp and by his brother, Walter Shamp.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 10:30 to 11 AM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Ivanhoe Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM with interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Asbury United Methodist Church Organ Fund in memory of Mr. Shamp.
