

She was born January 16, 1943 to the late Marylou Delegal Howard and H. M. Howard in Jacksonville, FL.
Linda graduated from Ribault high school Jacksonville FL in 1961, continuing on to receive her nursing degree the following year. She touched many lives in Jacksonville, Live Oak, Madison, Greenville and Dowling Park with her kind heart and her love of caring for people.
Her greatest love was her family, she is survived by her daughter Jenny Horne Moore and her son Alan W. Horne. Her grandchildren David Todd (Randi) Cairo, GA, Matthew Horne (Marissa) Quitman, GA, Gina Horne Pardo (Yunier) Wesley Chapel, FL, Larry Di Lorenzo (Renae) Morgantown, WV, Victoria Todd, Gainesville, FL, Brandon Horne, Madison, Elizabeth Moore, Valdosta. Her Great Grandchildren are Noel, Noemi, Gabriela and Giana Pardo, Addison, Levi and Hallie Todd, Everett and coming soon Sawyer Horne. She also had a close friend Betty Perkins Johnson.
She is predeceased by the love of her life Ted Fleming. Her parents H.M. Howard and Marylou Delegal Howard and her brother Richard Howard. Her son Charles W. Horne which broke her heart.
Mom had a great love for her kitties in Jacksonville, she cared for outside and inside fur babies. All their needs were met with love and care from her heart. One of her biggest joys was Christmas, whether it was making wreaths, decorating, baking her favorites or purchasing each gift. She always kept Christ in her life and always made sure we knew that Christ was the reason.
There will be a graveside service at Glenhaven Memorial Park in Winter Park, FL on Saturday August the 8th. She will be laid to rest beside her parents, grandparents and her son Chuck.
