Lydia E. Rodriguez

Lydia was born on October 31, 1935 in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Joaquin and Eulalia Quinones one of eleven siblings. She moved to the US with the family in January, 1951.

In 1953 Lydia met her only and forever, sweetheart Ramon Rodriguez in Brooklyn, New York. Lydia and Ramon were married July 8, 1961 went on to have three children Ramon Rodriguez III, Eliazer Rodríguez and Jaqueline Rodríguez.

In 1970 Lydia her husband and Family moved to California, where their children were raised. Then leaving California in 1999 to live a retired life in Florida.

Lydia, a devoted mother and wife, who dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting her family, always putting the needs of her children, husband and grandchildren, first showering them with unconditional love and unwavering care, a true pillar of strength and warmth within the household, a guiding light, whose presence will be deeply missed.

Lydia was predeceased by her father Joaquin Quinones, Mother Eulalia Quinones, Siblings Emmanuel J. Quinones, Eliezer Quinones, Rachel Soto Quinones, Nixa Quinones and her youngest daughter Jacqueline Ramirez Rodríguez. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Ramon Rodriguez two sons Ramon and Eliazer Rodríguez, daughter-in-law‘s, Sandy Rodriguez, and Hilda Rodriguez. Siblings Sara Masso Quinones, Luz Maria Vasquez Quinones, Ana Diaz Quinones, Eva Quinones, Samuel Quinones and Raimunda Muniz Quinones.
