Mrs. Margaret Jean Graf

February 10, 1925May 2, 2021

Margaret Jean Graf, age 96 of Winter Park, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born February 10, 1925 in Medina, New York.

Mama Jean lived her life always putting her family’s needs before her own. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren throughout our lives. When we needed help, she was ALWAYS there. Not only was she available for us, but she always was happy and loved to laugh. She had a keen sense of humor and glimmer in her eye.

Both Mom and Dad shared their faith in God with us. We followed her lead as she took us to Mass every Sunday without fail. They led us to a personal relationship with Jesus by example. She spent hours sending out special occasion cards to family members and a few select friends. When you went to the mailbox, you would know you got a note from her by the vibrantly decorated envelopes. She would spend hours dressing up the envelopes with stickers reflecting your personal likes. Mama’s favorite pastime in her younger years was sewing. She spent hours creating outfits for all her girls, even the grandchildren. Although it wasn’t her favorite activity, she made wonderful meals for the entire family.

Dinner time was always family time- a unique and daily event. Mama was the glue that bound us all together throughout our lives. She was our hub. We would gather around her. You couldn’t help be drawn to her effervescent personality: kind, gentle, funny, and generous just like Jesus.

She is survived her children, Terri Frerking and husband, Don; Tina Hohreiter and husband, Vaughn; Paul Graf and fiance Teresa Douglas; Mary Kay Divine and husband, Rian; and Ellen Graf. Also survived are 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 9, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Goldenrod Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Monday, May 10, 2021 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5900 Oleander Drive, Orlando, Florida 32807.
