Marie B. Jones

Marie Beatrice Corser Wheeler/Jones, 85, born June 9, 1929, passed away July 1, 2014. Though she resided in Orlando Florida for most of her life, her true love was the country. She was born and raised on a farm in New York State and treasured her many memories of life among nature and wildlife with her two brothers, Robert and Lester, and sister Mildred. As an adult, Marie adored being a mother to her three children: Dale Wheeler, Brenda Morris, and Wayne Wheeler Jr., as well as loving Grandmother to grandchildren: Janell Wheeler, Christy Morris, Jenna Wheeler, Brian Wheeler, and Wayne Wheeler III. She worked as the bookkeeper for the Lutheran Church for 20+ years and took pride in hard work and a job well done. She was a devout Christian and found joy in singing in her church choir, participating in fundraisers, and helping others. Marie enjoyed lunch dates with friends, big hats, family gatherings, caring for her pets, puzzles, and good conversation. She was a bright light in the world and her laugh was infectious. She will be remembered for her generosity, selflessness, immense strength, and her dedication to her family. She will be forever loved and dearly missed by all that knew her.
