

Marie died of natural causes at the age of 91 in her East Colonial Drive residence on September 11th, 2011. Survivors include son, William G. Roche and wife, Anne Millians-Roche, of Orlando, grandchildren, William A. Roche, wife Lisa and son, Liam, Robert Roche and daughters, Neve’ and Drew, Sean Roche and Fiancée, Ryann Lantz and Kathleen Roche Booth and husband Ryan Booth, all of Westwood, NJ.
Marie was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Jack and Florence Morrison, sister of Florence M Gunshinan, all now deceased. She and her late husband, William A. Roche, an Executive Director of The Cardinals Committee of the Laity in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of NY, last resided together in Chatham, NJ.
Marie had an exceptional career of 35 years with AT&T. After various assignments, she rose to a level of Executive Management in the Treasury Department at AT&T Headquarters at 195 Broadway in NY. In 1978, Marie accepted a special assignment to relocate to Orlando as part of the Legal team preparing for the case with Litton Industries.
After her retirement, she was active with Winter Park Hospital as a volunteer for the WPMH Infant Hearing Program for 18 years. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Winter Park on Thursday, Sept.15, 2011 at 10:30am with internment in a family plot at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Pleasantville, NY.
