She was born in New York City on May 16, 1925 to the late Francesco & Rose (Salerno) Anello.
Mary’s joy lit up every room, always the life of the party. When she met her dear husband, Cosmo, in their 20s, how could he not marry her? He brought her all sorts of gifts from around the world during his Navy travels, her favorites from Asia decorating their happy home. They raised three beautiful children together.
Not only a homemaker, but Mary was a skilled dressmaker and seamstress. She made all the kids’ clothing growing up; and her abilities extended to all sorts of crafts. In her spare time, you could find her doing any sort of creative hobby from beading necklaces to assembling jigsaw puzzles.
Later in life, Mary went on some new adventures of her own, traveling all around the world with her girlfriends, making the most of every moment.
She shared a full life with her family, and they miss her with all their hearts.

She is survived by her three children - Mary R. Adkins, living in Orlando, FL married to Burley G Adkins, Danielle Z. Higdon, living in Winter Park, FL, and Thomas F.
