Born in Taiwan, to father Tadashi Izuhara and mother Namiko Izuhara in 1943. She was one of five children.
She was raised and educated in Japan, earning a Master's Degree in fine arts from a University in Japan. Naoko immigrated to the United States 40 years ago. She worked as a professional artist Disney Imagineer. She worked for Disney World for 19 years.While at Disney, she was art director of It's a Small World, while under construction at Toyko Disney and Disneyland Paris. Subsequently she worked as a show production designer at Disney until retirement about 8 years ago.
Personally, she was a woman of highest character and a loving wife to surviving husband, Bob Weller.
The quality of her art, and her love for cats, will always be remembered, as well as to her contributions to her leadership in Disney. May she rest in peace and will always be remembered by friends, art lovers and work colleagues as well.
