

Norma Parks Bryant passed away June 6, 2016 unexpectedly. She was born in Harlan County, KY to Grey and Elease Parks. She was a graduate of Hall High and retired from the civil service naval division. She met and married the love of her life J.C Bryant in 1954. They had two daughters Rhonda and Brenda. The four them traveled the country and overseas due to J.C’s military career. Norma had many wonderful adventures in her lifetime. Family, friends, and faith in God were the most important to her. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Bryant, her parents; Grey and Elease Parks, brother Charles Parks, sisters; Jean Dickinson, June Owens, and Kay Parks, brother-in-laws; Don Dickinson, and Frank Underwood. She is survived by her daughters Rhonda Smith and Brenda (Bill) Smart, her grandchildren; Billy (Lynn) Smart, Sherry Bennett, and Jennifer Smart, great grandchildren; Katie (Sam) Miller, Kim and Kara Bennett, and Kyle Smart, and her great great granddaughter; Malone Miller, sisters; Una (Kent) Rhea, Eva (Don) Hurt, Jan (Lyn) Potter, Donna (Bobby) Railey, Sharon (Ray) Doepel, Ginger Parks, her brother-in-law; Mack Owens, and many nieces and nephews. She had many friends that were dear to her heart. The Aloma Church was her second home. The relationships she formed had been nurtured for over 45 years. What a blessing they were to her.
