Normand “Skip” LaBonte, 85 of Melbourne, Florida died Sunday October 8, 2023 at home with his family by his side after a brief battle with cancer. Skip was born August 15, 1938 in North Grosvenordale Connecticut.
Surviving Skip is his daughter, Eva LaBonte Alayon and her husband Gregory of Melbourne Florida. Surviving Skip is his granddaughter Kayla Huml and her husband Richard of Inverness, Florida and a grandson, Tyler Turski of Kissimmee Florida along with two great grandchildren Layne and Jayden Huml.
Skip is predeceased by his wife, Patti and their son, Normand M. LaBonte.
A visitation for Skip will be held Saturday October 28, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 7520 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792. A funeral service will occur Saturday October 28, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 7520 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792. An inurnment will occur Saturday October 28, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Dr, Winter Park, FL 32789.
