OBITUARY

Patricia Ann Curry

August 5, 1944April 12, 2019

Patricia Curry passed away April 12, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Patricia was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 5, 1944 where she lived until relocating to Winter Park, Florida in 1980 with her family. She was married to Steve Curry for over 30 years. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Laura and Susan Hurley. A loving grandmother to Brandon and Noah Hurley.

Her career was in Property Management for the last 30 years and was a legal secretary prior. She enjoyed Italian cooking, reading, murder mysteries, shopping, relaxing by the pool and her beloved dog, Bailey. She loved her family and was extremely close to them. She always knew time was a precious gift and to make the most of it with the ones you love. We will all miss her smile. Her laughter was contagious. She was a petite woman but a strong willed one. Her nickname was “The General” because we all knew who was in charge. I am sure Heaven will be no different.

She is survived by her husband Steven Curry, daughters; Laura and Susan Hurley, grandsons; Brandon and Noah Hurley, brother and sister in law; Joseph and Carol Bruno, niece; Debbie Mahr, son in law; Jay Weaver, cousins; June Lump, Siara Lump, Andy Lump, Amanda Morris, Diana Carroll, Sherri Lambert, Carol and John Nuwer.

Laura Hurley

April 17, 2019

Every May my Mother, Susan, Noah, and I would go for a long weekend somewhere that had a beach or a pool. Last May, she was in the hospital so we could not go. I have a picture of the last weekend away at the Villas at Grand Cypress. We already miss her so much. Love you Mom!

LAURA ANASTASIA

April 16, 2019

My favorite memory of Patrica was when Laura and were in Jr. High. We conned Pat in to renting us a Limo for a dance, promising that we'd wash her windows for two years. Of course she know we were full of it, she did it anyhow.

On a more serious note, Laura Ann would tell Patrica when things weren't going so good in my life. Patrica always had great insight, advice and she always prayed for me and my children. I have many beautiful Christmas gifts (China) she gave me every year. That I will cherish forever and think of her kind, generous spirt always!

Laura, I love you. We are family more then people related by blood. You are a wonderful daughter and I know your mother was very proud of you!
