Phyllis Ann Morrison, 93 of Orlando, FL. passed away peacefully at Westminster Winter Park on April 29, 2026. Phyllis was born in Paintsville, KY on December 20, 1932 where she grew up and graduated from Oil Springs High School in 1951. She later moved to nearby Huntington West Virgina to work in banking where she met and married the love of her life, Lew D. Morrison on June 24, 1954.
Lew and Phyllis moved to Orlando in 1960 to be close to family and settled in College Park to raise their three children, where they have resided for the last 64 years.
After the children were in school, Phyllis went to work in the admitting department at Holiday Hospital which later became ORMC and then as an administrator for a neurology practice for the remainder of her career. Phyllis had a passion for the outdoors and the mountains. She enjoyed daily walks around Lake Adair while at home. Upon her retirement she and Lew spent countless summers in their beloved cabin just outside of Sylva, North Carolina. Her greatest joy, however, came from being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be dearly missed by all.
Phyllis is survived by her husband Lew Morrison as well as her children, Karen (Frank) Chatterson; Rick Morrison and Greg (Katie) Morrison; grandchildren, Kris Chatterson (Carrie), Bobby Chatterson (Sumie), Kyle Chatterson (Dasha), Patrick Morrison, Colin Morrison (Kristen), Kasey Kearney (Alex) and 12 beautiful great grandchildren.
