In Loving Memory of My Beloved Uncle Rennie
My beloved Uncle Rennie has made his transition, and tomorrow we will return his body to the earth. But what he gave us does not end here.
Uncle Rennie was presence. He was steadiness. He was the kind of man whose very being made you feel anchored, even when life felt uncertain. His voice, his way of carrying himself, his quiet strength, and his particular way of seeing the world live on in us now.
He showed love not only in words, but in how he stood for family, how he showed up, how he endured. He taught us things simply by being himself. There are lessons he never had to announce, values he never had to preach. We learned them by watching him live.
Today, my heart holds gratitude alongside grief. Gratitude for the time we had. Gratitude for the memories, the laughter, the moments both ordinary and sacred. Gratitude for a life that touched ours in ways that cannot be measured.
To my family, I offer my deepest condolences. We grieve together, and we remember together. May we hold each other gently, speak his name often, and carry forward the best of who he was.
Uncle Rennie, rest well. May the ancestors receive you with honor. May the earth be light upon you. You are loved, you are remembered, and you will not be forgotten.

Uncle Renny will always be remembered for the love showed through the meals he prepared and the beautiful gardens he nurtured. He had a special gift for bringing things to life, whether in the kitchen with his sumptuous dishes or in the garden where flowers bloomed in abundance under his care. His winning smile and calm, laid-back nature made him a quiet blessing to those around him. He is deeply missed by all of us. 

Sending love and prayers to Auntie Annette, his children, Mama and all our uncles and aunties during this difficult time.

 I thank you all for all the undying love and support that you all have endured and shared throughout his entire life.
The hardest part for me personally,..is accepting that we won't be able to see him again in this life.
