Mrs Pietkiewicz and her family are a wonderful part of growing up in Central Florida.They impacted all of us in such a great way. Words can't express how saddened I'm to hear of your mother's passing.

I was in Mrs. Pietkiewicz's 4th grade class at Dommerich in 1975.  Her love and commitment to children made a positive mark on me that I proudly carry all these years later.

Jim and Stan, I was sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I know it's never easy to lose a parent, but it sounds like she had a wonderful life and a great impact on so many young people.

I was so saddened to hear the news. Ramona was my amazing 4th grade teacher. I learned so much in her class and she was the inspiration behind me becoming a teacher. I was blessed as an adult to return to Dommerich as a new teacher where Ramona was the CRT. It was so hard for me to call Mrs. Pietkiewicz, Ramona. I still have a photo of her that she gave me when I helped her clean out her classroom one summer. May God bless you all! Your mother truly touched many lives.

Mrs. Pietkiewicz was a wonderful teacher at Dommerich and she was someone who touched many hearts and lives.  Mom and I were fortunate to know her, as well as her husband and Stan.

Dear Family,
Mrs."P", as we called her, was my 4th grade teacher at Dommerich. I had just moved into the area and she made my first year at Dommerich a delightful one. As we grow up and grow older, we tend to look back and remember those "special" teachers that meant so much to us or that made an impact on our learning. Mrs. Pietkiewicz was one of a kind and a very special teacher in my life. I have always remembered her with fondness and I am sad that she is gone. I will miss her. May God comfort you during this sad time. She was a special lady and she left a great legacy in her children and grandchildren.

Dear Jim, Stan, Meg, Kathy, and all of you "Grands" and "Great" Cole.
We love  "so hard".   My cousin Ramona holds a special place in our hearts that only she can fill.  I have such fond memories, and I can hear her laugher as we share them. Wonderful Mike accepted us into their home and would laugh as we revisited our youthful antics.
Oh how she loved all of you.  She would take out you "Grands" one by one, to share you with me via phone calls from Maitland  to Atlanta.  Kate, I feel that I know you .  Please stop by for a hug when you are in Atlanta. She had such pride and love in her voice as she shared each of you.  Meg and Kathy-- you were truly daughters to her and she loved you dearly. Jim and Stan, what can I say. oh how she loved you. Proud?  Strangers listening to your mom talk would think you were a team--Superman and Batman! 
We are all a little better and a little stronger this day for having her in our lives--Our Ramona, the epitome of kindness and love.

Stan and Jim, your wonderful mother was a great and important part of our family as our 4 boys were growing up. She was always so patient and loving as she helped guide them through their formative years. I personally have always felt very close to your family, because of Mike, Remona and their two great sons.

I remember a very bright and charming young Ramona from the early 50s at her grand father's farm in the Traylor  community in NE Al.  I was young at the time being 8 years her junior. Her mother Winnie is my grand mother Maudy's sister.

To Ramona's Family:  My mother, Nell Cohen and Ramona became close friends when they taught together at Dommerich Elementary.  We always thought so highly of Ramona in our house.  Education was so very important, and Mrs. Pietkiewicz was a bright star in the world of teachers.  She was also a dear, kind lady, and I'm so grateful that I knew and respected her.  I'm quite sure that she and Nell will have much to talk about and teach in heaven. God bless you all.

I rememember Ramona as a beautiful and friendly young woman at her grandfather's home near Crossville, Ala.  This was when I was a very young boy in the late 40s or early fifties.  I am Winnie's sister Maudy's grand son.  Robert is my father. I was born in 1936.

It is hard to say how much your mother meant to me through the different stages of my life.  My family loved her dearly and she will always have a special place in our hearts.  The party in heaven is getting pretty crowded and I know she will be welcomed with open arms. When it thunders it will probably be your mom and dad doing the polka! May God help you and hold you and your families during this time of loss. She will be missed.

Mike, my mother Billie Rose loved your Ramona very much, Please know I am thinking of you and praying for your family.

Dear family,
I was honored to be her principal and colleague at Dommerich.  She was one of the greatest teachers I ever met in my 30 years in education. Please know that her legacy will live on. May God's perfect peace comfort you.

Jimmy and Stan, although it's been many years between our visits, please know that all of your Alabama relatives remember your mom (and your dad) very well.  We always looked forward to seeing you all on our Florida trips and she always made us feel so welcome.  May you find peace in the wonderful memories she left you to enjoy in the years to come.

Dear Stan & Jim - Ramona holds a very special place in my heart, not only as my 4th grade teacher, but as a friend to my family.  May God hold you and your families close during this time. I will miss her more than you know.

She was a darling.  I still see her around age 10 sleeping crossways of the bed at home with seven of us in the same bed. She was more of a sister than a cousin as we grew up.  
I will miss "Monie" as I always called her.

Stan and Jimmy, Oh how I loved your sweet mamma! I know you will miss her but be assured that she is in Heaven dancing with your dad, alongside Betty and Beryl! What a reunion they are having!
