Robert L. Carter

CARTER, ROBERT L., 83, of Orlando, FL went to be with his Lord on July 14, 2014. He was born February 6, 1931 in Orlando, FL to Theodore and Nettie Lively Carter. Robert graduated from Orlando High School, Rollins College, University of Wisconsin Banking School, and the University of Oklahoma Banking School. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served on the U.S.S. General William Mitchell A.P. 114 from 1951-1955. Robert was a Bank President for SunTrust Bank, Inc. and retired after 33 years of service. He was a Past Member of South Orlando Kiwanis Club and Rio Pinar Country Club. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orlando. Mr. Carter is survived by his loving Wife, Willoween Carter; Daughter, Janda L. Schechter; Grandson, Joshua Schechter and Great Grandson, Thomas Andrew Schechter. Funeral Services will be at noon on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Baldwin Fairchild Chapel, 301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd, Orlando, FL 32804, followed by a reception at the funeral home and Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park with Military Honors.
