Robert "Bob" Horrobin, 85, of Winter Park, passed away on January 2, 2017. He served in the Navy from 1948 to 1975 including a tour of duty during the Korean War, followed by a career in mental health counseling and hospital administration. Bob held a Master of Science from Rollins College and a Master of Arts from UCF. He was a devoted Catholic and parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. He was the organist of the Winter Park Elks Lodge #1830 for 25 years. His proudest fulfillment was being a family man. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jackie, 8 children, 16 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Blanche, and his son, Bobby.
Viewing will be Friday, January 6th, at 3:30 pm at St. Margaret Mary's followed by a funeral mass and reception. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to St. Margaret Mary's.
