Robert Victor McAdam

January 8, 1931April 28, 2021

Bob McAdam was born and raised in San Francisco and was a long-time resident of Millbrae, California. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean war. Bob and his wife Lorena (who preceded him in death) owned and operated McAdam’s Sporting Goods for many years. Active in the community, Bob participated in the Millbrae Lions Club, served as a member of the Millbrae Planning Commission, and was President of the Chamber of Commerce. His greatest passion was baseball and he got so much satisfaction helping Millbrae Lions Club Youth Little League. Later in life he moved to Florida to be closer to family.

Bob is survived by his son Robert and daughter-in-law Frances of Florida, granddaughter Kate Leonard (Tony) of Philadelphia, grandson Greg of Denver, and great-granddaughters Victoria and Abigail Leonard of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Hoch of Fairbanks, Alaska.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Millbrae Lions Baseball.
