Robert "Bob" Scott Yeaple

May 13, 1943October 1, 2019

Family and friends are invited to attend any or all of the particular parts of our tributes to Bob on Saturday 10/19/19.

Robert “Bob” Scott Yeaple was born on May 13,1943 and peacefully passed to join his Savior on October 1, 2019. He is survived by his wife Gabrielle and his four daughters Teri Bartus, Debbie Holt, Teresa Bell, Rachel Nielsen and his sister-in-law Barbara Jean Yeaple. He was immensely proud of his many grandchildren: Nathan Bayliss, Misty Foster, Robert Bayliss, Summer Sculley, Rachael Gentry, Christopher Bell, Kristen Bartus and Caitlin Bell. Bob was also blessed with 19 great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Agnes, sister Anne, brother Alan, and wife of 35 years, Eve.

Bob grew up in Suffern, NY and was president of his senior class at Suffern High. He was active in many sports and captain of the football team. To this day Bob remains in touch with most of his high school classmates. Bob, thereafter, graduated from Franklin Marshall College with a degree in business. Bob had a successful career in the automobile industry and was owner of a prominent Highway 50 dealership. He jokingly always called himself a “used car salesman”. Bob was an avid golfer and loved traveling, the beach and boating, as well as spending time with his family. He had a wonderful and unique sense of humor.

Bob was active in his faith and church. During his life he served the Church of the Ascension in many leadership roles: Senior Warden, Jr. Warden and chair of the 2007 Building committee, of which he was most proud. He was instrumental in connecting the church with the Ocoee Christian Service center which lead to a ten-year partnership of feeding the homeless. He was also elected to a three-year term on the Diocesan Board of the Diocese of Central Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 4 PM, on October 19th at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension: 4950 S. Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando. Following the service, a motorcade will proceed to Highland Memorial Gardens on 436 at 3329 East Semoran Blvd. Once on site, please follow the blue arrows, to the interment location. A celebratory “Celebration of Life” will follow at Heathrow Country Club, Lake Mary, in the Grill Room. Golf carts will be available to transport guests from the parking lot.

Flowers and/or contributions in Bob’s name are welcome at the Church of the Ascension, for his service. The details of the three-part tribute to Bob can be found on the Baldwin-Fairchild site: Dignitymemorial.com

Although I only knew you Bob, for such a short time, you will remain in my heart forever. Thank you for including me as an outsider in many of your special occasions, like birthdays, Easter and Christmas. You would always put a smile on my face and welcome me with open arms. Thank you for that gift of generosity and warmth. May you Rest In Peace You will be dearly missed. Photo of Bob and Gabriella at Ruth Chris on his 75th birthday.

Bob was a good friend. At Suffern High School, we were co-captains of the football team. At Franklin & Marshall College, we were roommates and fraternity brothers. I saw Bob at our 50th high school reunion and again, in Orlando, a year later at Eddy Vs restaurant. It was a pleasure getting reacquainted with him. I met his wife Eve at the high school reunion and his wife Gabriel at Eddy Vs. Bob was blessed in his marriages. Bob made me smile when he had to confess to having great grandchildren. He was proud of his children, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren.
I will miss Bob, his smile and his good nature at our 60th high school reunion.
Rest In Peace, Bob (Shakey).

Time together was way to short!!

May your days of sorrow be short and your healing be with family and friends.
I remember way back when WE played baseball on the same team the "CUBS" and before that the sandlot field up on Orchard Street against us from down on the Boulevard.

May you rest in Peace, for now, and till then. Your classmate class of of 1960...SUFFERN HIGH SCHOOL

As long as I can remember, you have brought such joy to my heart with the Christmas season. From the enthusiastic tree trimming and the Christmas light drives belting songs out the window, to your generosity in feasts, gifts and fun; a love of Jesus danced in your eyes that I will never forget, and seek to emulate. I am sooooo blessed to be your daughter!

See you soon ❤️
