

Roberta was born on November 22, 1935, in Batavia, New York to her parents, LaVerne G. Wood and Doris A. Wood. She graduated from Elba Central High in Elba, New York in June 22, 1953.
On March 25, 1955, she married Kenneth R. Baker, which they shared over 50 years together before his passing.
Roberta worked a variety of locations, many of which she worked as a secretary, a bookkeeper, and an office manager. These locations include, Y&T, Sylvania in Batavia, Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, and K&B Plumbing.
Aside from her employment, she was also a member of the Winter Park Does, from the Elks lodge number 1830, which she was the Past President among other offices she held.
She had a passion for cooking, especially for making pizzas, and Coconut cream pie.
Roberta was preceded in death by her spouse, Kenneth R. Baker; her son, Kenneth B. Baker; her parents, LaVerne G. and Doris A. Wood; her brothers, Wayne Wood from Alabama and Dale Wood from New York; and her sister, Thelma Montreal from New York.
She is survived by her children: her son, Brian Baker of Orlando Florida and her daughters, Bonnie Christensen of
Casselberry, Florida and Babette Baker Massachusetts.
She is also survived by her Grandchildren: Alexandra Christensen Casselberry, Florida; Heather Delpriore; Robert Baker of Orlando Florida; Courtney Baker; Tabetha Akins of Massachusetts; Joshua Akins of Daytona, Florida; and Jeremy Akins of Massachusetts; and she is survived by her sister, Beatrice Mulcahy of Winter Park, Florida.
Funeral Service will be October 15th at 11:00 am, which will be held at Aloma Church 1815 Florida-436 Winter Park, Florida 32792.
