Ms. Lyon was employed by the Florida Safety Council for over 30 years as a DUI Instructor for court ordered offenders. She often said she found her niche in the classroom. She enjoyed a close relationship with Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob Smith for many years. Bobbe, as she was known to her friends, and that included everyone she met, loved to travel. She had visited all of the 50 states and 8 foreign countries. She always said she’d rather wear out than rust out. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
AFTERGLOW
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an after glow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
of happy times and laughing times, of bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun.
Remember, I’m not really gone, I live in everyone.
Love always,
Mom, Grammy, Bobbe
