Ron Hinton

Ron Hinton, 78, of Orlando, FL passed away on May 24, 2016. He was born on March 4, 1938 in Dacula, Georgia to the late Herschel Jackson and Memphis (Everette) Hinton. Ron was a retired general manager in the paper recycling industry. He was a United States Army veteran who received the Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter Commendation for carbine and pistol. Ron was a member of American Legion Post 286 and awarded the Legionnaire of the Year. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki. Survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Sara; son, Jeff (Katrina Crawford) Hinton, 5 grandchildren, Tiffany (David) Guitierrez, Trent and Payton Hinton, Michele (Danny) Gendusa and Micheal (Caitlin) Boylan and 3 great grandchildren, Caleb and Noah Guitierrez and Elliot Gendusa. A Graveside service will be held at 11am, Saturday, May 28 at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park.
