I can't believe it! someone told me today of Sandy's passing. She was always a bundle of laughs and she looked forward in learning a new task-if it be learning how to drive to learning her job at Disney. She will be missed! What a strong women.

Let's try this again. I love you, Sandy. I find myself typing out a message every day. The world has lost an angel on Earth, but we've gained an angel to watch over us. I pray that your passing has opened up all our eyes, so that we don't take life for granted. Love you forever. Until I see you again my beautiful, mom #2.

This loss has prompted me to do a great deal of introspection and reflection on myself and my relationship with my mom. I can say that the best parts of myself are a product of her unconditional love, her motivation to mitigate the uglier parts of life for her children, and an altruistic drive to care of others before herself. I know that I am stronger, wiser and more loving due to her example. I only hope to leave such sentiments with my loved ones in my passing.
