Sarah King Biersdorf, age 98, of Oviedo, FL, passed away January 16, 2017. She was born July 22, 1918 in Littleton, NC. Sarah was a graduate of Littleton High School and received an AA degree from Woman's College of the University of North Carolina. In 1944, Sarah married Delbert Biersdorf. Mrs. Biersdorf had a career in secretarial work for St. Andrews Lutheran Church of Wheaton, Maryland. Her passions included sewing, volunteer work, and helping others. She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her son, George (and his wife, Beverly); grandchildren Bethany and Nicholas (and his wife, Cadence); great-grandchild Sutter; and sister, Winnie Fred Thompson. A Memorial service will be held February 22, 2017 at 11 am at Ascension Lutheran Church, 351 Ascension Drive, Casselberry, FL.
