Shirley S. Green

Green, Shirley 92, of Orlando, passed away on March 30, 2016. Shirley was born February 2, 1924 in Chase City, VA. Shirley, and her late husband, John, came to Orlando in 1953 and established Edgewater Oil Co. and later Azalea Park Gulf Service which remains in the family as Greens Energy Services. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Syfert and husband, Tim, of Bradenton, Kaye King and husband, Lin, of Orlando; son, John T. Green, Jr., of Orlando; 11 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on April 4, 6-8 pm at Baldwin Fairchild Ivanhoe, and services will be held at Downtown Baptist Church of Orlando on April 5 at 11 am.
